Negotiations for a huge media deal puts junior-accountant Chloe in a terrible situation, and it also puts her on billionaire Mike Knight’s radar. It continues the series about three brothers who vow to avoid making the same disastrous mistake that their father made when love led him to marry the wrong woman.Chloe made too many stupid decisions and so much of this bad situation could be solved by one or two simple conversations. Some of the things that Chloe and her blackmailer did weren’t just personal issues between themselves, but actual crimes. There be criminal investigations, a huge scandal would be all over the media and some government agency would look for securities violations. I can’t get past that or characters’ stupid decisions. It’s not the genre, which has these kinds of story lines, it’s how they’re handled in this book.
This is an improvement over the first book in the series, but the same issues are still here. I was given this book in exchange for an honest review.

Disgraced lover. I received this book as an ARC member in return for an honest review. Chloe is a remarkable woman in this book. She has so many challenges that she finds herself having to deal with. In order to survive all the problems in her life she hides herself as long as she could until everything caught up with her and she had to decide whether to face the mess or run again. Chloe decides to stop running and face her fears because of the love of a certain man she couldn't forget. She owns up to her past thinking she would lose the only love of her life. Mike can't figure Chloe out. Is she a spy or just in love with another guy that she acts so mysterious. Mike is determined to find out no matter what. I enjoyed this book!
This is a great story with secrets, business deals and strong attractions. The characters have remarkable chemistry and interactions, this book was impossible for me to put down. The Knight brothers are not to be messed with. Can't wait for more.

Book 2 in the Billionaire Knights series shows Nic Saint definitely has not lost their touch in writing Contemporary Adult Romance. They still have a way to draw in their readers and keep them hooked from start to finish.

I received an arc in exchange for a honest review. Chloe Ross just got offered a new position at work but she doesnt want it. Not if it means working with people who took everything from her and ruined her life. Making her change her name and looks just to live a regular life. But Mike Knight her boss doesnt take no for an answer. Not knowing the real reason he pushes Chloe thinking she's a corporate spy. I loved how sweet and touching this was. And how Mike responded to Chloe. I honestly cant wait for the next Knight brother book!
I enjoyed reading Mike and Chloe’s story. What happened in Chloe’s past does make you feel for her and root for her to have her happily ever after. The only aspect of the story that I didn’t like was the time frame. Maybe I’m cynical, but I think it’s more lust than love at this point since the story seemed to have only been over a few days. But that aside, I still enjoyed the story and look forward to the next book. It was a pleasant surprise to see a glimpse of Stuart and Kristy in this book, it was nice to see how their relationship was going.

As you are reading this story your heart will truly break for Chloe Ross. She has run from a pass that keeps coming back to haunt her. Every time her past comes back to bite her it is like ripping open old wounds. Truly back then she was deceived, her innocents was taken advantage of, and was naive. But this past destroyed her life.
Chloe is offered and opportunity of a life time. She gets to work on negotiations with one of the Knight brothers. Mike Knight is one of the three brothers that owns Knight Enterprises. So it seems she should of jumped at the chance. But when Chloe heard that there was someone from her past that was going to be there fear gripped her heart. My heart truly broke for her. Here she was feeling like a victim all over again.
Mike Knight was not a trusting man. He was one that did not have plan having a steady woman anytime soon. When Chloe refused the chance of a life time his suspicions rose. I can not imagine all the doubt and anger that rose up.
Chloe and Mike get close. Mike and Chloe will know what jealousy feels like. The question is when the truth is out will Mike be her knight in shining armor coming to save her.
Yet another great story from Nic Saint, the second in the Knights series will have you on edge from page one until the last. Chloe has lived a quiet life for the past five years, hiding from what became her own personal nightmare. Keeping to herself while trying to become the best she can in memory of her parents, she is thrown into a major panic when offered, and pretty much forced, into a promotion of sorts. As much as she would love the promotion, she definitely does not want the limelight that goes with it. Mike is determined to remain a bachelor the rest of his life, especially after the disaster of his fathers' demise after the death of his mother when he was nine. But he has yet to learn never say never, as his neatly packed away life comes head on with the likes of Chloe. Neither of them are prepared for the fallout of what may just be the most important weekend and set of negotiations they will ever experience.
Well written with a plot that is very easy to follow, even if you haven't read the first book of the series. Full of emotions, both high and low, a bit of blackmail, emotional and physical, this book will have you enraged at times, yet on the verge of tears right after. If you haven't had the chance of reading either books of this series so far, don't wait any longer. You won't regret it.
