I typically don't read witch/magic romances though it wasn't a big leap from shifter/supernatural beings roms, and I found that I really enjoyed this. The heroine was tough as nails and came off as hard hearted but the hero seemed to sense she just needed some room and some time to trust him. During this time however, said heroine is on the job hunting a big baddie of a witch which our hero happens to be himself. King's love scenes are hot and steamy but not overly so in my estimation. The storyline flowed well and was satisfying to read in one go. The ending felt a bit disjointed but that's neither here nor there and just my personal two cents. I would rec this series along with her stand alones anytime.Product details

Great book. I absolutely loved it. Finally finding your soul mate has to be the most amazing thing in the world and I am so glad the characters finally found one another. Do yourself a favor and get this book NOW. You will love the suspense and the story.

This is a good book with good adult scenes and a few laughs. I read everything by Ms. King and this is one that I liked better than a few. I would recommend this to anyone looking for an adult read with a supernatural twist.
I loved and wish I could be like the heroine.She was tough but she had an awesome and approachable human side I found hilarious; although, I felt the hero would definitely need some headache medicine to cope with. He was sweet, but she was bloody Satan come to life...Good luck, Ronan McKinley!!!!!
What can I say!! Her books are always a treat! I totally loved how strong Nikita was and how Ronan was not at all intimidated by a strong black women! I loved that Nikita's vulnerabilities did not diminish her strength in any way. Great read!! THANKS THAYER!!!
Nikita was exasperating. I understand that Ronan knew she was the " one" but, he had the patience of Job. The heart wants what it wants and Nikita was a such complex and complicated individual. Ronan patiently waited while he subtly and delicately worked to eradicate her distrust and steely resolve.
